Presidential Welcome to 2018

As I look at my diary I am reminded that we are at the beginning of a New Year and already eleven (11) days have already gone. The remaining days (354) are stretched out in front of us, as yet undiscovered and we have no means of knowing what the future will bring. We can plan for the days ahead but all we can hope for is that we may be able to fill each day with something worthwhile. My hope is that we may all do that; a Happy New Year to you all.
And as this first newsletter reaches you, we are planning our Annual General Meeting for Monday 29th January at 7 pm at Adare Uniting Church. All nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at least seven (7) days prior to the AGM.
Les Miserable is going around in the head of JJ Geelen as you can well imagine and the cast is already excited about this large production we have undertaken. I am certain it will be a great show for the citizens of Victor Harbor and beyond and I wish JJ cast and crew all the very best as they begin the journey.

My very best wishes to all members of the Society,

Helen Williams
