It takes many people to produce a show to produce a show to the professional standards SCCAS is recognised for. 12-18 months out the Production Team starts planning. 4-6 months out auditions are held, and rehearsals start. Hundreds of hours are volunteered building sets and creating costumes. Actors and musicians spend hours at home practising lines, songs and choreography.
There are many roles in a SCCAS show, both on and off the stage. Actors, Musicians, Directors, Stage Crew, Set Constructors, Painters, Costume Seamstresses, Dressers, Make-up Artists, Caterers and more.
We'd love to have you involved in our next production! If you're interested in being onstage as an actor, singer or dancer, you will need to audition. Audition information can be found on the respective page for our upcoming show.
If you would like to be involved behind the scenes as part of the crew, contact us today. We'd love to welcome you to the SCCAS family.
